The VMA Annual Awards provides a unique platform to showcase and reward marketing skills, creativity, and professionalism in the veterinary and animal health industry. The long-established annual event provides a fantastic opportunity to reward and celebrate with colleagues, clients, and peers among over 300 veterinary marketing professionals. This year, the awards were hosted by multi-award-winning comedian, presenter, actor, and scriptwriter Russell Kane.
Dave Watson, IGNIFI’s managing director said: “We submitted a number of entries relating to projects and campaigns that ran over the course of 2021. This included imagery of the campaigns, a description of the entry along with supporting information around key performance indicators, objectives, and successes throughout each project.
“A panel of VMA judges then reviewed the entries from healthcare marketing agencies and in-house teams within each category and decided on a shortlist, a set of highly commended entries and the ultimate winner.
“We are extremely proud of our achievements at this year’s awards, which include five wins in the categories of: Veterinary/Animal Health Media Advertising Award, Advertising Campaign Award, Direct Mail Award, Detail Aid Award and the Veterinary/ Animal Health Media Advertising Award, which was chosen by veterinary surgeons in practice.”
Healthcare Marketing Agency Awards... IRL!
The 2022 event was the first to be held in person since 2019, providing a fantastic opportunity to get together with both familiar and new faces. Dave Watson, Sarah Thompson, and Liam Murtha represented IGNIFI at this year’s ceremony for their work with Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health as the lead creative agency in the UK for their parasiticide brands.
Passing on thanks to team members who worked on the campaigns, Watson added: “In addition to the five wins, three of our entries were finalists in their category and another was highly commended.”
