Selbey Anderson, the fast growing marketing services group has appointed its first Chief Growth Officer. Andy Oliver, who has been supporting the group in building its first partner agency network will take up the new full time role this month

Andy has had a lengthy career in agencies including stints as Global Client Engagement Officer at LEWIS Global Communications and Managing Partner at WPP-owned Gain Theory. More recently, he has been advising numerous agencies on their business development and growth strategies.

Commenting on his appointment, Selbey Anderson’s Chief Executive Officer, Dom Hawes said: “Growth is our number one priority so it made sense to appoint someone who can focus entirely on it. As well as helping our agencies’ with their growth plans, Andy will help me with our M&A activities. The number of agencies that we’re talking to is continuing to grow and Andy’s previous experience here will make sure those conversations are meaningful ones that lead to successful outcome for both parties.

"We were particularly drawn to Andy’s international experience which will be particularly useful as we expand overseas”.

Commenting on his appointment, Andy said: “Working alongside the Selbey Anderson management team over the last few months has given me a real insight into the level of their ambition, which is huge. I’m excited at helping them translate that ambition into a reality”.

The Group recently announced its ninth acquisition, AML Group, using some of the funds raised earlier in the year from Triple Point.

Andy joins an expanding senior team alongside, Katherine Watkins who joined earlier this year as a Chief People Officer. A Chief Finance Officer is to be announced soon.
