Perhaps it’s his love of horse riding, but Charlie Trietline, the Managing Director of our latest company, Drum Horse, likes to move at speed. Here’s what he has achieved in his first few two weeks in the job.
To underpin our Finance and Admin Service, he’s obtained Xero bronze partner status already. Xero is our chosen accounting software platform and his team will soon be migrating all seven companies in the Selbey Anderson Group onto it. Luckily for us, amongst Charlie’s former roles, he managed largescale change management programmes on behalf of Hewlett Packard Enterprise and before that, EDS.
He’s done something similar for our IT Consultancy & Support Services, where he has enrolled Drum Horse as a Microsoft Partner. Our IT Support team based in our Shared Service Centre in Skopje, Macedonia are busily expanding their already first class workplace services capability by working through the Microsoft competency training thereby putting Drum Horse firmly on track for Microsoft Silver Partner status
And to give our HR Support services an initial boost, he has organised an HR Surgery for creative agencies. This takes place next Wednesday, 17th June at 11.00am. (Click here if you’re interested in attending). Its purpose is to provide guidance on how creative agencies can prepare their workforces for a return to work following the lockdown.
Naturally, Charlie does not intend to sit still just yet, and still on his ‘to do’ list are the following:
Over forty Salesforce licenses have been issued to users across the Selbey Anderson Group and Charlie and his Business and Sales Operations team are now developing a data driven support service that will help these users get greater value from using the platform.
They are also trialling Tableau as the data visualisation software that will provide the dashboards used in the group’s management information and reporting system. Handily, Xero integrates with Salesforce and improving this information flow is top of Charlie’s list.
Charlie is also looking to expand our presence in Skopje, where our Flow Team are already located. Amongst the ‘Middle Office’ functions that team could provide to agencies are data analysis, web development and creative production services.
Commenting on Charlies’ ‘fast start’, Selbey Anderson’s Group CEO, Dom Hawes, said, “Charlie loves horse racing and has ridden several winners in his time. He’s demonstrating that love of speed at Drum Horse which has got off to a great start.
Agencies will fundamentally have to change their shape and structure if they are to survive in the post-covid business world and the range of business support services that Charlie and his team are creating should help those agencies considerably”.
