Selbey Anderson today announced the merger of two of its leading communications agencies Flagship Consulting and UNITY.
As part of the merger, the agencies will unite under the UNITY brand and Flagship Consulting Director Sophy Norris will join the UNITY management board as joint Managing Director alongside Samantha Losey. Both will report into UNITY CEO, Gerry Hopkinson.
Commenting on the merger, newly appointed UNITY Managing Director Sophy Norris said: “Over the past 15 months it has become clear that Flagship and UNITY have much in common and together we can be even stronger than apart.”
“UNITY has an incredible reputation, leadership team and a track-record of delivering award-winning work for some of the world’s biggest brands. What we have in common is a belief in the power of campaigns to drive reputational and commercial value for our clients.
Selbey Anderson COO Simon Quarendon says: “As the Olympics Games are demonstrating, to be a winner, you need consistency, leadership, a clear focus, grit and determination. The new UNITY team show all those qualities and we are confident they will strike gold in the public relations arena.”
